New Build Permit - Document Checklist

Complete checklist of all required documents for new building construction permits

Required Documents

Application Form*

Complete official building permit application form signed by property owner and licensed professional

Site Plan*

Detailed site plan showing property boundaries, setbacks, existing and proposed structures, north arrow, and scale (minimum 1:200)

Floor Plans*

Complete floor plans for each level showing dimensions, room names, fixtures, and door/window locations (minimum scale 1:100)

Elevations*

Building elevations from all four sides showing exterior materials, heights, and architectural features

Structural Drawings*

Structural plans and details prepared by a registered structural engineer

Land Ownership Documents*

Current deed or certificate of title proving ownership of the property

Town & Country Planning Approval*

Valid planning permission from the Town and Country Planning Division

Soil Investigation Report

Geotechnical report for foundations (required for structures over 2 stories)

Environmental Clearance

Environmental impact assessment (required for developments over 5,000 sq ft)

Submission Requirements
  • All drawings must be prepared by a registered architect or engineer
  • Submit 3 hard copies and 1 digital copy (PDF) of all documents
  • All drawings must include the project name, address, and date
  • Digital files must follow naming convention: ProjectAddress_DrawingType_Date
  • Application fee must be paid before submission
  • All documents must be current (not older than 6 months)

Starting at $1,500 TTD

Validity Period

Permit valid for 2 years from issue date
